Treasured memories from Türkiye - February / March 2026

We spent just under three weeks total in Türkiye. Three days in Istanbul exploring the spice market and grand bazaar. We flew to Antalya, rented a car and spent four days exploring the city, the surrounding forests, canyons, and 1500+ old ruins. We drove the coast up to Kas for five nights and simply relaxed and enjoyed the sunset view from our airbnb. Explored the beaches and old abandoned cities in Oldeniz for three days before driving back through the mountians to Antalya. We flew to Cappadocia for three nights. We went in a hot air balloon with sunrise, explored underground cities and ancient abandoned cave houses. Spent one more night back to Istanbul before departing to Spain.
